2. Standing Order Deposit Account is available with a minimum of £30.00, $50.00 or €40.00. This amount is converted to our local currency, Dalasis. Current approximate exchange rates between the Dalasi and other international currencies can be obtained online from Trust Bank, a local Gambian bank. Please note that the actual exchange rate used by the DOP might differ from the Trust Bank rate.

2.1 Mode of payment: British Postal Orders is acceptable for any amount. Other instruments like International Money Order, United States Postal Money Orders and Bank Drafts of less than £100.00, $100.00, or € 80are not accepted.

2.1.1 All payments must be sent by Registered Post.

2.2 It is inadvisable to send bank notes (cash), as this bureau will not assume liability in the event of loss, except when it is proven beyond reasonable doubt that the loss or theft occurred in this office. To minimize such a possibility, customers are again advised to send their payment orders by registered post. British (£), American ($) and Euro (€) bank notes are the instruments that may be sent.

2.2.1 Personal Cheques, Credit Cards and International Reply Coupons are NOT accepted as payment orders.

2.3 Standing Order Customers are two types.
(a) Those who wish to be supplied automatically with every issue of stamps.
And
(b) Those who wish to be supplied with specific issues.

2.3.1 All Standing Order Customers will be given a number which is to be quoted in all correspondence/orders.

2.32 The cost of items ordered for each issue as per standing order will be deducted from the customer's account and a statement of account will be sent to the holder along with the order.

2.3.3. Non-standing order customers can request for orders subject to condition 2.2, and  2.2.1

3. All orders are sent by Registered Post at a cost of US $3.00, i.e. handling and postage.
